Asian Parents Not Just Fobs

When our parents ventured here
They worked upon their feet
Trying to get their children something good that they could eat and
Through all the struggles and the times of being dead broke, they pulled it together cuz they never lost hope

Besides the facts up there there is more to what they did, here's a list of things that i remembered as a little kid...

In the fields picking strawberriess to working part time, owning nail salons, tryna make a happy life

It is they who gave us chances and.. opportunities to grow, sharing and giving thought and the ideas of which they know,

The least that we could do is pay respect and listen to, The people who brought us up, work hard n be good in school`

hope what i just said means something special to you, try to make them happy is exactly what i try to do.

I know these rhymes are short but it's deep down from within, re-telling my stories of when i was a kid.

Writing this cuz i love them and i'll forever and always will, they mean so much to me and n i hope they wont grow ill,

The only way i can express myself is through thoughts up in my head, thinking of them all the time til the day that i am dead,

but i know once they're deceased they'll live with me in spirit, and i'll continue write my lyrics for those whos willing to read it, and hopfully my work will reach out for others to pass on realizing the meanings of which i thrive upon.

Fame and Fortune means nothing to me now cuz in the end ill be proud
to live the life i choose cuz that's what i vowed, teachings of my parents will most definately uphold on to my children and their children and so on.

Afer listenin` to my lines i hope you look it through, hopefully you realize the message im tryna to get through you,

They're always there for you and be sure that you know, that they are people you'll never wanna lose, If you think what i said is not in the bit least true, then you gotta rethink about yoself cuz you aint a person foo`
