Learning Japanese

Hi!
I really wanted to learn japanese the right way, I've learned only a few things but I'd rather have a tutor...

Anyway, for those who have more time to study from the web, here is a good site for vocabulary and also maybe one of the greatest japanese teaching sites, though it hasn't got much grammar:

Remember, first learn the katakana (syllable symbols most useful for foreigners and foreign words), then the hiragana (syllable symbols used only for japanese words), then learn a little vocabulary, some grammar, make some sentences and then the Kanji (the symbols that mean a whole word)

Actually I was taught the Hiragana first which my sensei, said it was easier than the Katakana, while I was studying in Japan.

Anyways, it is fairly easy if you listen to the CDs and definitely listen to how they pronounce them.

I speak about..4th grade japanese XD so I can hold a conversation...haha
