For you kids out there who thinks you know what being asian/american is all about. let me relate this to you. You probably think right now, that asian pride is about being united with all other asians and sticking together and all that happy bullshiet. Well you're fucking wrong!
Alright.. for those who never heard of the real AZN Pride before. I'll lay it down for those who are interested.
I'll start off of what it was really like to be AZN not asian. For all you fakers out there. Damn AZN wanna be's.
Okay, I'll really start. Being AZN wasn't about lookin like a nigga or a crackheaded mother fawker emo.
AZN's were the one who held their own grounds, their own turfs, and had a damn good reputation to be not picked on. "ohhh, now i know why those crackers didn't pick on me in highschool." Cause of real mother fawkin AZN's keepin real for you. I could so name like 10 things that would've been different if AZN's weren't around for those banana asians.but i'm not. Banana's is a racist term for an asian person acting like he or she's white.
AZN's were them kids off the block with their bangs hangin in front of their face, either the color black or the color blond. you know what i'm talking about. If you didn't have just bangs, you probably had split hair that probably touched your cheeks. and if you didn't have that you probably had a slick back, and if you still didn't have all that above.. you probably had spikey hair either blond or black lol.
AZN Girls were notorious too. With make up stacked on they face, keepin it real for the girls on they side. but still.. the AZN girls are apart of what imma about to say next too.
AZN's didn't dress like niggas. We didn't have fake ass grills. What we did have was Jnco's, belts that had different colors and it hung to our feet. We sported adidas and gangsta nikes. We're wore collared shirts, sported head bands and our shoe laces had to be the size of your thumb but really long. Polos and tommy hil was the shiet. Cologne was a must. None of that timberland shoe crap.
AZN's had gangs, either reppin their crew from cali and they lived in the midwest or they basically made one so that there was a pack. The crew either had a 3 letter gang name. Oh i don't know, maybe "F.O.B., Y.O.G., L.B.C., T.R.G." some shiet like that. Know this, the gang was real, and they meant business if you crossed our turf. AZN gangs usually consisted of different nationality though. There weren't such a thing called laos and viet crew. It was either all Laos people or all viet people or all chinese people. TRG was all khmer people. TRG really didn't like any of the other races either. ruthless bastards lol. but we all know that the japanese and korean gangs were always at war with each other.. back then. and the viets vs. the laos. it was always this way. so when you kids say asian pride. fawk you! you better pick a side or you're getting shanked anyways.
AZN's break danced. It was a known fact that 90 percent of asians knew how to do at least 2 break dancing moves. the other 10 percent were the dj's. it just so happened to be that way.
AZN's listened to asian/american music. Remember AZN Dreamers? the crew that brought songs to our hearts? Remember the song, "baby girl"? .. man.. only if you knew. Kai was the shiet too! with "tinkle, tinkle little star." I used to get all the girls by lip syncing with that song lol. William Hung would've been shot if it wasn't for american idol. If he tried to pull that shiet then. Nah uh.. that nigga is gone! lol. Remember those TRG rap songs? like the hit single "Smoke Weed"? i jammed to that forever! while smoking weed! or what about those Viet Boys doin their thang? that's some real AZN stuff right there. Reppin you're own culture's music.
Other than rap music or r&b of the asian music society. We had trance and breakbeat. AZN's listened to trance or breakbeat. If you didn't listen to any of that stuff then you weren't worth being called an AZN you damn banana. Trance and breakbeat was huge back then for being AZN. Going to raves, doing ectasy, selling ectasy. Selling drugs. We was doper than niggahs themselves.
Being AZN also meant being a family person. I never knew a mother fawker who disrespected they own folks and if we knew he did. We jump his punk ass. Know another fact. AZN's jump people. We do it all the time. If you're black, we'll jump you, if you're mexican, we'll jump you, if you're white we'll jump you and take your girls, and if you're asian and you act A)white B)Black C)mexican or D) all the above. You was definetly gonna get jumped. and we'll laugh at you. bottom point.
AZN's drove acura's and civics. either they were a 92 up to 99.. it was one of those models and fixed it up with body kits. engine swap. or some other shiet. but know this, we owned H.I.N. not a bunch of white people with real cash trying to show off what they can buy and then have an asian person install it for them. AZN's did everything they damn selves not only that, we stole car parts okay? we'll jack a mother fawker who had they shit installed already and jack that foo. That's how us AZN did it.
AZN's weren't afraid of anything, we BBQ'd everywhere, we picked stolen cars, we fixed cars, we had gangs, we banged, we was haters to everyone who weren't AZN. We wasn't frontin, all you mother fawkers who think you're AZN. and you baggin on the rest of your fellow people. Well I hope you get jumped cause it's gonna happen. As long you an asian/american. be proud to say AZN Pride. And for those who are white, black, hindu, mexican, or some other race. You too can be AZNs but you gotta rep hard. Cause, i know some mother fawkers who are white, they're more AZN's then bananas. To me.. that's AZN.
