hey, I've been having this weird problem with my computer. lik when i want to change my background image, it wouldnt allow me to do so. i cant even change or use a background image.. does anyone know how 2 fix this? and NO MY COMPUTERS' NOT BROKEN! so plz dnt tell me 2 buy a new one or something. here i'll even include a picture of what i mean  see! grawrr.. plz sum1 help

Could it be that your using unsupported Image extensions? If not Try downloading a Theme Editor.

i've seen this before ... can you get a screenshot of the settings (press Prnt Scrn) and post it again? is it a .bmp, or .jpg file?

you said it won't let you change the bground...did it say anything to stop you from doing it, or you just don't see it when you clicked ok?

doesnt say nething.. it js wunt let me click a bf image or a image i wanna put on..

i'm not so sure why it didn't let you select an image ... but can you try this? maybe you, or someone else has set the access limit, preventing you from customize the desktop ... .go to any site with images, look for one that you like, if you're using Internet Explorer: .right-click on the image, and select "Set as background" if you're using FireFox: .right-click on the image, and select "Set as desktop background" It "should" take the picture you selected and set it as your d.top's background ... after that, go back to your display settings and try to change to another image ...
